Hi,I've a year 2000 600 Monster with a blown motor.I can pick up a used 695 motor for less than the cost of rebuilding my 600 .So the question is will the 695 drop straight in and can I use my 600 carbs, air box and exhaust on the 695 motor.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

695 motor will have 12mm engine mounts, your '00 frame will have 10mm.
You can either source 12mm mount bolts, drill out your frame, and shave the OD of the nut and bolt flanges.....
or sleeve the engine mount holes with tubing.

695 motor does not have the threaded hole in the front left of the crankcase for the ignition trigger wire passthru fitting.
It may not have the threaded holes in the ignition trigger mount bosses.
Both of those can be handled by a good shop.
You'll need to swap over your flywheel and ignition triggers from the 600.

Exhaust and intake will fit, carbs may need as bit of jet tweaking.

A '98-'00 M750 motor will drop right in.
Not as good a motor as a 695.
