Completely draining tank Monster 696

Background:  Put some gas in the tank from a gas can on Sunday.  Monday morning, she started up, then died.  Several attempts later, I'm thinking gas is crappy.  I used a siphon to get the gas out of the tank.  I poured in three gallons of fresh gas.  Gas tank appears full.  Still won't start.  I'm thinking the older gas (0.4 gallon) is still active further down the system.  But how do I get that gas out?

Maybe you could try to keep starting it, or use a Mitty vac pump connected to one of the fuel lines to create a vacuum and draw out the fuel.  Have you checked to make sure all your other fuel system components are working properly and that this isn't a coinsidense or that the bad gas didn't clog a filter or damage some wiring?

I'm not positive on this, but I think the 696 uses the same style injectors/throttle bodies as the rest of the injected 2V motors... in which case the "bad" fuel is flushed out by the "priming pulse," the fuel pump whine when you first turn the key to run.

It is possible for junk to have gotten into the injectors, but you have to remove them to clean.
