Will a seatcover made for  Monster S4 / S2 fit a seat for a 94 M900 ? I have a spare OEM seat i want to clean up and rebuild for more comfort .
Picture is from ebay shop http://www.ebay.com/usr/firma_wijalis and is listed for M S2/S4 . Can it be used  for my old M900  ? Seller says they dont have cover for my model ,but it can be designed if i send them the seat . .. Huh?

The shape of the front part of the seat where it mates with the tank is different between a '94 and the '00 and later seats.

Do a google search for HTMoto seat covers. I have one and I love it. Grippy and comfy. I did put it over the original cover though, just in case I didn't like it. But, it worked out for the better and is barely any firmer.

Do you have any pics of your HTMoto cover?

Howies link to HT moto has a cover for 93-04.  Considering that date range covers the 94 and 00, (93-04),  shouldnt it be compatible ?

I ask because I am intrested in the seat cover for my 05s2r800.

Did you have to staple it on or does it slip on over it and held on with drawstring/rubber band like generic car seat covers?

If stapled on, maybe compatibility isnt an issue because you stretch it over the front anyways?

The HT Moto cover's shape is made for the newer ('01 +) seats - actually a DMF'er had them make it for him. It will fit the S2R. Stapled on.

Thank you.

In the mean time, I have some small rips in my seat where the front mates with the tank.  I sprayed a little plastidip over it so it hides the white foam underneath.  Not a thick layer, really just to make the white foam not pop out
