Picked up a used 2003 M1000S tank in a silver grey/titanium color.
I'm going to try the scratch touch-up myself.
I can have a local paint shop shoot the tank and get a good match for the grey and they'll even put it in a spray can.
Any idea what color Ducati would have used as a base coat?

For example: on my other Ducs they used pink as the base coat with the red as the final.

TIA

I think they used white under that color...IIRC.

Are you doing a spray, or a brush, touch up?

Spray
I've got a few spots to prep that are 1-2" long

You'll discover the color of the undercoat when you sand...no? ;D
