Clock Issue on 2016 M1200S

I have set the clock on my Monster 3 times, but the clock doesn't appear to be keeping time...at all.  I can set the clock and look at it 2 hours later and the time displayed is the same time as when I set it.  I have read the owners manual and cannot find anything indicating that I am setting it incorrectly.  Nothing else on the display seems to be in error.

Am I missing something?

Are you following the setting instructions on pages 111 and 112 of the manual, and confirming the change?

I believe I am.  I have read the manual, but you have me concerned when you mention "confirming" setting.  Back to the drawing board.

From the manual...pg 112

Press buttons (1) and (2) to highlight the customizable
parameters one by one: in particular, use button (1)
to highlight the following item and button (2) to
highlight the previous item.
After highlighting the required parameter, press
button (4) to open the corresponding menu page.
If function is not available or temporarily disabled, the
menu page can not be opened.
To exit the Setting Menu, highlight "EXIT" and press
CONFIRM MENU button 4.

I have a dinosaur Monster, without all the electronics, so I really have no idea if that makes a difference.

A clock isn't one of the features that's important to me on a bike. That's just me.
