Fluid dumping into airbox

I have a head scratcher - I am getting fluid dumping into my airbox from the airbox vent hose.  Any ideas why, how, how to fix?

Thanks!

Howie

How much?  Some is normal, like a film between cleaning assuming the factory crankcase breather system is working.

I would say a couple of ounces.  I just ordered a new breather valve and seal but am stumped why so much fluid and why so thin.  It appears to be gassy oil.

Doing wheelies?

How is the oil level on the engine?

2 oz of oil would make a puddle under the bike from the airbox drain.

puddle - check, (yes) and no wheelies - will a new breather solve the issue?  How would fluid other than oil get into the box?  Oil level is within range.

Howie

Some of the combustion gasses pass through the rings.  If the oil level is proper (engine warm, bike vertical, not on sidestand) and the new breather doesn't help a cylinder leakage test is in order.

It's an air cooled bike. There is no other fluid in the engine.

An open air box sometimes can allow water in.
