Hi everyone,

My 2012 696 is doing something weird. It fires right up, warms up, engine sounds great, but when I put it in gear (kickstand up) and let go of the clutch and roll on the throttle... it dies. It happened seemingly out of the blue. It was garaged all winter with fuel stabilizer in a full tank of gas and on a battery tender, I took several rides in may, then... this happened. Anyone know what I could try, or do I just need to get it towed to the dealer? Thanks in advance!

Not the only thing that could be wrong, but if possible check the vent and overflow hoses from the tank (under the skins). They could be clogged. To get an indication... open the tank cap and listen for a vacum/fizzing sound.

Then there's the fuel filter....
