2000 Ducati - Axle / nut swap for something that locks?

I recently acquired my 2000 monster. This weekend I installed new sprockets and chain. I noticed that on this bike the rear axle nuts are just torqued down. There are not cotter pins or folded metal to lock the nut in place from backing off.
Does anyone know of a upgraded axle and nuts I can install that will accept some form of locking mechanism?

I'm terrified of the wheel coming loose while riding.

If that's your concern, safety wire is the answer.

That is actually what i'm trying to achieve. i want to buy and axle and nuts with a hole through them that fit my 2000 ducati monster 750.

It` s worked without any pins etc for over 30 years so why bother?
Torque properly and ride.

If it were me, I'd drill the one I have.... But I might have more tools than sense.

The standard safety wire practice is through one of the corners of the nut, then looped against loosening and tied to some other hole.
