I'm doing a shock swap for my S2R1000 and didn't realize that the bolt receiver that the bottom shock bolt threads into isn't affixed into the swing arm. I was bolting the shock back up and couldn't figure out why the bolt wasn't catching the threads. I looked on the other side and realized the piece the bolt threads into fell out a little bit. I tried to seat it back in place but it fell into the swing arm. Oh my make the beast with two backsing god what a stupid design. I'm sure I'll spend all night trying to fish it out. If you guys have any advice in the meantime it would be appreciated  [bang]

I guess that would be useful! I used a pick with a hooked end to maneuver the head of the receiver towards the opening in the swing arm. Then I was able to grab the head from the side with long, thing needle nose pliers to pull the head at an angle through the opening. Then I was able to grab it with my fingers.
