A lot of you may not know who Wayne Rainey is. He raced in AMA Superbike and 500GP bak in the late 80s and early 90s. He won three 500GP titles in a row. At a race at Misano, Italy 27 years ago Wayne crashed and broke his spine. He was paralyzed following that crash. He is the President of Moto America. He is still paralyzed but Yamaha figured out a way for Wayne to ride a Yamaha R1 at Buttonwillow raceway. This is way cool. I saw Wayne race two 500GPs at Laguna Seca in 1990 and 1991. He won both races.
