Morning fellas,

I bought some new Rizoma LED blinkers as well as 4 separately sold Rizoma resistors from an online vendor.

When everything arrived I was surprised to see that the blinkers already had resistors in each box as the description on their website didn't indicate that they would. But here is what is confusing to me; each individual blinker came with 2 resistors. Add those 8 to the 4 I bought and not I have 12 freaking resistors!

So my question is, why would each blinker come with 2 resistors; are they known to fail frequently?

Only guessing, but maybe each resister is half the proper resistance, in other words, 2 = 1.  This way each resistor is smaller and produces less heat.

The instructions are less than clear.  ??? I will put everything together and try with 1 resistor on each before I button everything up and see how things works. I'll report my findings as it may be helpful to someone else.

Well, everything is buttoned up and works properly with 1 resistor on each blinker. I guess I have 4 backups!.
