Today Danillo Petrucci riding a Barni Ducati V4R Panigale accomplished something very rare.  Danillo is first of all 32 years old and Danillo is definitely Jockey sized.  He is not a small light guy. Anyhow Danillo used to be on the facory Ducati GP team where he won one race. He also participated in Moto America and won some races. He also won a Stage of the Dakar rally.  He also won some races in Superstock 1000 and 600. And today he won a World Superbike race.  He is a very nice guy with a big heart.  It is nice to see nice guys winning races.

And by the way the World Superbike race today from Italy was a good one.  There was some nice passing. Ducati factory rider Bulega and Alvaro Bautista finished in second and third. So a Ducati podium lockout!
