Ducati Introduces 450 Motocrosser

Ducati just formally introduced their 450 Desmo Motocross bike. The engine is desmo powered. It also uses Showa suspension.  Oh, and it will cost you $12,000.00.  As a former Motocrosser and a Ducati owner I don't appreciate desmo actuation. The bike is going to be revved out and having to take it to a dealer to have your valves adjusted will mean no bike for a day instead of riding or prepping for races. Pro racers usually have two bikes. That is 12,000. I don't know why Ducati went with Showa forks and shocks instead of Olins. Olins builds exceptional suspension. Anyway see the video. The bike looks exceptional and Tony Corroli did a super job bringing the bike along.
