This is just plain f*cking crazy!!! :o I had always joked about Greyhound being the "Axe Murderers Anonymous" club, and I think this proves it.

Unless, of course, you consider that this happened in Canada, it's probably just an average day.

Take greyhound...and leave the beheading to us!

My mother used to put me on a Greyhound to SF every other weekend to visit my dad. It was seedy then, and it's even seedier now  [puke]

Of course, this was probably just a VerticalScope employee on holiday ;)

I don't think so. There was no mention of drowning in maple syrup, nor rabid moose trampling. [laugh] [laugh] [laugh] [laugh] [laugh]

I listened to an interview with the guy sitting in front of Jack the Ripper there... pretty effin' gruesome.  Just another reason to hate Canada!   [cheeky]

That is pretty tragic and disturbing.  On a lighter note ...

Anyone ever ride the 14 mission?  I've had some amazingly bizarre moments on that bus.  It is well worth the cost of admission.

I live just off the route (14th & Mission) and am always amused as it goes by  ;D

No but I found the 49 Van Ness - Mission to be quite an eye opener. After some of the crap those drivers Have to put up with, I'm thinking they either don't get paid enough, or they need to take a Valium before their shift.  [cheeky]

I try to avoid it at all costs. The 22 Fillmore and 38 Geary are consistently freak shows on wheels.

No no no no... 14, 22, 38, no.

19 my friends. Take the 19 Naval Ship yard @ 7pm. There's not even a Naval ship yard there any more. That thing scoops up the nut-cases all across the city from the overly bling to the pee-on-self-in-seat-bananas and poops them out in the void south of the city. You want to bring some protection with you. Like a body condom a gallon of mace and some ear plugs.

That said, it doesn't hold a candle to greyhound. Did you know that at each station there is a direct portal to hell's 1/2 acer? Ya, its true.

You ever notice How the greyhound bus station is "Behind someplace" on a back street in a not so nice part of town?

...and it smells like sulfur brimstone and pee.   [puke]

One of the reasons those buses are so bad is because of the "greyhound therapy" and the "ride out of here." that are regulars to it. That is : Cities often take those characters they don't really want and stick them on a greyhound bus going someplace more tolerant...like San Francisco. Otherwise, those who've been in prison long enough not to know anyone any longer on the outside, usually get stuck on a greyhound to be shipped "away." Even in a nice place like San Rafael, you get the freshly picked San Quintin crowd joining the bus. The bus drivers get to deal with that. What a job. They must be hell's minions there to recruit.
