Recent unread topics

On other boards when I return, let's say a day later, I will click unread topics and get several pages of unread topics. On this board, however, I get "No unread topics found since your last visit. Click here to try all unread topics."

I stay permanently logged in, but shut the computer down when this occurs...

Is there a fix for the board or my profile?

This happens to me regularly as well.  Unread topics will show that message 90% of the time for me regardless of the browser I use (IE, Firefox, Safari).
