I'm the resident bum and do weekday rides all the time.  If you guys want to head out during the week (less traffic, very few  Police )  I wouldn't mind playing tour guide and showing you some of the best roads the bay has to offer.

vindingo, thank you. i'll pm you, and get your #. i'm sure we're going to be doing alot of weekday rides, we have a whole week to have fun with. the more the merrier!

Feel free to PM me also about rides.  waytogo

alright all- i got in yesterday, and we went for a good ride today. right off the bat, we were cruising along, and some lady in a silver accord decides she wants in my lane-> COMING IN!!! Shocked  she runs me off the side of the road, i hit a pothole and slightly catch air on the duc. when stopped later, i found my tailight lense, and both turn signal lenses self destructed, and my rear rim has a big bend in the side of it. it still holds air, and seems to be true.  i need a new tail light lense and possibly a new/old beer tray for the rest of this week. or possibly a makeshift tail chop kit w/ integrated light setup. can anyone help me out in the bay? it'd be much appreciated. thanks!

that sucks dude!  if you are in a bind, hit up a hardware store and McGuiver a plate bracket with some aluminum angle.

Try Monroe's on Valencia for the lens if no one here has one.

You could always go with the Clear Alternatives integrator board. They sell clear and smoke lenses.

Also, Desmotosport is pretty good about parts too.

Sorry about the incident. I had a little problem with my taillight too this weekend.

Oh, and apparently you can use the Buell taillight cover too:

It's supposed to be a bit cheaper.

How about the one from vizi-tec? Seems to be very high quality. It better be for $224.00!

http://www.vizi-tec.com/SUPANOVA/SupaNova_ProductInformation.htm

You can't buy them from vizi-tec at the moment but, Monsterparts has the SN490i-L-?. Which is the model with the intergrated turn signals and license plate light.
