Mark Savory sent me this link from the show...  I thought I'd post it up as there were some real interesting cars in attendance.  I believe Mark did some work on the best of show winner, the 1938 Alfa.  Check it out:

I did a bunch of work on a Packard straight eight roadster that won a bunch of years ago.

It takes an amazing amount of patience.

So....did you start painting ducs when Packard went under?
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

The Concours was pure auto porn.  As an added bonus, I got to meet the original owners of one of my bikes there - they were showing a car.  Very cool peeps.

Fantastic year at PB -- Jon's Alfa won "best of show" and many other awards.  It felt great to be part of the team to win this.  Usually all we have is a vintage Ferrari and go for the class win at best.  It was great in having a truly fabulous car that was capable of such an award.

I"ll post pics of the show, the Alfa restoration and the ERA "Romulus".  I'm on the road back from Bonneville Speedflats currently
