Please check your track day org to see what they require for prep.  Even as a beginner, I highly recommend a bare minimum of safety wiring.  With a set of cheap safety wire pliers and a drill, you can avoid being "that guy".  If your filter or any of your oil plugs backs out, you're talking up to an hour or more for clean up!  That's taking a full session away from each and every person at the track.

Even if you don't want to safety wire, a really simple thing to be a nice guy is to replace your antifreeze with water + water wetter.  It will save you in a crash or other kind of failure from being that guy again.  It is bad enough to cause a red flag, but worse if it's a red flag plus antifreeze cleanup.  That stuff is slicker than snot.

I definitely concur with the folks who have advocated taking off anything you don't need.  Anything that you crash with that you don't need is just one more street farkle you have to buy after.  But then again, I'm also a huge advocate of having a dedicated track bike.

Have fun out there!  You'll have a blast!
