How about a beer of the month?

Start a thread. but maybe make it a beer of the week thread. Suggest a beer, then people can try it and give their thoughts. Maybe the first person to give an opinion should select the next week beer.

I tried Sam Adams and Jack's Pumpkin Spiced Ale when I was over stateside in September... and some Pale Ale (not THAT kind). Good stuff, very good stuff indeed.

I walked into opening day of a very cool special at my local beer distributor this afternoon.

They had two pallets stacked 2-3 cases high with odds-n-ends. A random sixer of this, a few bottles of that.

It was 'mix your own case' for $12.

I now have 4 cases of local, seasonal beers.
