Why no CF wheels on GP bikes

I always wondered why they don't run CF wheels on GP bikes. I've heard some explanations, but wasn't sure what the real scoop was. Well, straight from the horse's mouth--

They're so stiff they can crack when the tires are being mounted. The beads on the GP tires are really (REALLY) tough, because the carcasses can flex so much and deform under braking and acceleration. If the beads aren't strong enough, I've seen tires completely spin around on the rims, too. I've had forged Mag wheels break during installation and removal, and if you consider that CF needs to be replaced every time there's a crack or chip, then knowing that wheels take a lot of damage (rocks, bumps, etc), then you're looking at replacing a large amount of material every season (whereas Marchesini will check and repair our rims in the off-season and as necessary). There are a couple 125/250 teams that have used CF wheels in the last years, but this is not common. Consider that on my private team alone, we're using around 50 rims at any given time. $$$.

YEah, that and the fact that if you're not using marchesini, you won't be using brembo either plays into it a good deal.
Also, Red Bull Yamaha used CF wheels on their GP bike back in the days of the 500s.

I liked that site until they had the turds dropped in the middle. You should really tell them to cut them out, and keep it performance orientated.

I'd have a 140hp Hellcat with it's 120ftlbs of torque in a New York minute!!
I reckon it'd would just about keep up with a M620.
