they definatly sound deeper (and better)
not to loud, just nice deep tone (my neighbors havn't comlaint :e:v)

How would you compare them soud-wise to, say, a Termi set? Arrows?

I'm looking at doing this on an SC1000. I'd like to get more rumble than pop. My only concern is that without some form of packing material it might end up a bit tinny.

Sounds like a good rumble, that's what the guy I see in Madison sounds like too.

i havn't had the chance to compare 2 s2r cored/termi
you definatly want to pack them (at least i did)
