I love reading ride reports from all the different people on the board.

Any way there can be a board dedicated to posting up special rides and trips that people take?

It's fun to go back and read other people stories on the road.

not a bad idea....

Start making a list of links to populate the new board.   Grin

My two cents:  I like and have always liked them in General.  It's general motorcycle interest and keeps us all warm and IZ_ about riding.  Otherwise, all the General threads are either threads of people being snark to each other or threads taht should be moved into a more specific section. They set an important tone that--in my mind--is important to have in the main (i.e. General) forum.

I'm also wary about too many boards.  It segregates the forum.  Personally, I already think there are too many visibile boards on the main page.  It gets distracting.  I vote for KISS.

Good points Spidey waytogo

Keeping the ride reports together makes them easier to access.  I'm in the process of planning a big trip with some buddies and would like to read more experience of others on the road.

Maybe just a sub section on the GMF

+1.  The ride reports is my most frequented area at ADV and it's nice to be able to just hit that forum as opposed to wading through pages of General = what exhaust, dropped my bike, etc posts to get to them.  my .02

I do see value though in Spidey's point of not diluting the site with too many sub forums.

Mind if I put a poll up in GMF about the ride report section to see people will actually use it?
