It looks like a sausage with wheels.

Not a Ferrari.   Ferrari has always prided themselves on designing cars that are the direct descendants of Ferrari's race cars, not cars that are the most stylized (though they are) or the best sellers (though they are).  In that way, they're a lot like Ducati.  Racing first, selling second.

When Porsche announced that it was going to build an SUV, someone asked Ferrari if they were going to follow suit.  Ferrari responded that their cars are race cars for the street and that there were no plans for an SUB because, said with distain, "We don't race trucks."

Similarly, that motorcycle has nothing to do with performance or with racing.  It's just red and has a prancing horse logo on it.

I think the rear wheel rubbing the swing arm is going to be a problem:

I'd hit it...er...I mean ride it.   cheeky

As an aesthetic exercise...it needs work.  However, given that it's made by Ferrari, if they came up to me and said that I could have one, I'd take it and ride it everywhere--especially to the Starbucks 2 blocks from my house.  But only if I could have the black one.

I'll give the guy credit, his 3-d modeling skills are pretty slick... BUT other than the prancing horse NOTHING on that bike says Ferrari, maybe the nasty side intakes from the testarossa.

The forks and the swingarm scream fisher price and the overall form is too blobby.  I would like to hear the opinions of the guys from Pinninfarina

As a design major I could go on and on on this - but I won't.  All I have to say is he should have noticed the err in his ways when he rendered it next to a 430 spider. The only common feature is the logo and the color.
Thank god motorcycle design is more competitive than car design.

Yet another motorcycle designed by someone who clearly doesn't like motorcycles.

In the design world we have a saying. "A horse designed by a committee is a camel." This is a ferrari camel.

It must be the ugliest 2 wheeled vehicle of all time. Functional as a Submarine with a screen door.
It's apparently been making the rounds on the blogs. I've already trashed it on a design blog having built my angst into a froth and wasted brain space pondering how this got past the first pin-up.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't DUCATI the Ferrari motorcycle? I had the idea that Ferrari helped produce Ducati motorcycles in the early days. I can't find anything on it. maybe I hallucinated. it.
