I don't know if it's better than the puggle pod or not...

It's narrower (so technically splitting is still doable) but i like having not to worry too much about my rear end...  How does that change the lean dynamics?

It looks like it's connected to the swingarm. That means it slows down the rebound, I guess.
Lean input will have to come from the bike. That means that turn in/out will be affected, as in slower/harder, I guess (again).

I just think it looks well made and not too ugly. As seen in their gallery it sure draws attention and smiles.
