So sad to let her go but I might be moving in January and needed the money.

Wow, I didn't even have time to put up a post here. Posted my ad on Craigslist yesterday for my 01 M750 Dark - time from posting to sale: 60 minutes!

Guy picked it up this morning:

... there she goes. My neighbors sure are as happy now as I am heartbroken ...  :'(

Several things together, each by itself wouldn't have made me sell her but in total it made sense: Second hit & run in 6 months while she was parked just happened. Good timing for a sale: I will be going home to Germany for all of winter and don't have a garage. Also, I will probably move away from SF in January, I could use the money, and I think in the future I would like to go a little bigger.

I guess I will go for something similar in looks and definitely sound though ...

The buyer mailed me one more time: He's more than happy.

Car Alarms: Like I said, my neighbors hated me. ;-) I usually triggered two to three just in our little stretch of Natoma.

... and I have absolutely no clue where the "who let the dogs out" music suddenly came from ...

The end of that video has me cracking up. W/in 3 seconds you have a car alarm, dogs barking, and "who let the dogs out" which will always hold a special place in my heart ever since that one drunken night in Iceland...

Haha. Well, as you can imagine, most night in Iceland require at least a moderate amount of drinking and weekend nights you double up on that before you even leave your house. Summertime leads to two amazing things. One is a double in population due to tourism (in Reykjavik) and two, you have the sun up for about three months straight.
On a particularly late night/morning my g/f and I stumbled back to a friends house in broad daylight. We got upstairs to our room and out the window we hear a lone Spanish guy just yelling at the top of his lungs, "Who let the dogs out?" in a thick accent and then, yes, he made all of the barking noises to complete it. Repeat a couple of times. Check watch to see if this is actually 2007. Pass out. Dream about making it back to our normal dimension in one piece.
(That was also the night my girlfriend discovered that she can imitate the calls of sea birds near the port.)

Now I'll at least pretend to relate this to the OP:
I have contemplated selling my Monster once or twice but just can't get myself to do it. It's so perfect for so many reasons. Hopefully at your new location you can find another Duc to keep you happy.

Awesome, just awesome!  laughingdp

For the OP: If you were ready to sell her it was meant to be. There will be something else in your future if you are like me and just GOTTA RIDE. Best of luck to ya....

I'll definitely get a new bike as soon as I am at my new place. Very happy to having it sold to someone who enjoys it as much as me ... but hey, who wouldn't. Smiley

Off to cold Germany tomorrow. 44 degrees + rain. Ugh.  Undecided
