Is Cycle Cat officially done this time? For real even? I thought they were back in production but just looked at their homepage and it says that they are done. I'm sure this has been talked about on the "other" board but I can't even log in over there.
I just put in another oncycle order to replace crashed bits but their inventory will run out soon [bang] I may have to switch parts if I keep crashing [laugh]

Can anyone confirm?

In the "Arlen Ness" thread multiple people have mentioned the end of CycleCat.

I can't confirm, but I'm going to say yes.

It appears they are officially dead.  They were on a limited production platform in conjunction with oncycle for about a 2 months.  You placed the order, they make the product, no more no less.

Anyone that has a basic understanding of business plans and production models could have seen that it would never be profitable.  But it appears business management was never one of Cycle Cat's strong points.

funny statement considering they're owned by the same person.

There statement not mine, it was what was posted on the web site when they began their limited production model.

I'm sad that they went bust.  I always wanted to get a set of their clip-ons for my S2R and now they are no more.  Boo hoo right?  Guess I will have to wait and see when Apex releases their clip-ons that have a riser to them...

The real problem is that I DO have their clipons. Hope I don't crash!  No replacement parts because the company is filled with dummies.

You should alleviate that fear by selling your clip-ons to me, then i will have to worry about that everytime I ride.  ;)

They wouldn't fit your forks, I believe.  I've got adjustable Showa's from '99.

The real pregnant dog is that if I switch brands, and I will eventually have to, I might end up having to get new brakelines. Again. Dammit.

Here' the story to date:

CycleCat was done, but due to a strong write in campaigne, they decided to do limited runs where customers puts a deposit down then they build to order.  There was one successful run on the DCC-10 vented clutch cover.  The second product was the DRS-53 rear set for S4RS.  They received ~25 orders, but needed ~40 to breakeven and ~50 to turn a small profit.  They never received enought orders and has either refunded or credited the people who placed a deposit.  Nothing is ever done unless aliens appear and sucked the IP into outerspace, but I am no longer holding my breath nor am I pestering them on different potential ways of making small batch production runs workable...
