la vida loca

« on: May 11, 2008, 11:30:56 AM »

grew up on central coast (SLO), riding old airhead beemers made into rat cafe racers

been living in cities ever since (L.A./vegas/NYC/SF)

bought a monster 1000 new at  the soho dealer in nyc a few years back and used it to "relocate". took a solo 6,600 mile trip over 3 weeks from NYC-montreal-sturgis-rockies-oregon coast-SF
bike was flawless and there is nothing like fully loaded (see pic with all the gear on the bike) touring @ speeds up to 135mph!!

regretted parting with that monster and yesterday lucked out and found a m900 dark that my meager budget could afford!
this bike has a little less power than the 1000, but seems even smoother, i mean it's BUTTERY!

looking forward to bike nights and rides with you all.  i do seca every year, and want to check out the inferion AMA thing this weekend if anyone else is game.

cheers!

See ya around and enjoy the new ride!
