I've got high rise termi's but haven't done a tail chop because they'd look too long.

I can't believe you've chopped the pipes. Are there any side effects of this interms of performance?

Taftonomos, thanks thats exactly what I needed to see. Seeing whats inside and someone else doing it always gives you a bit more confidence in chopping up an expensive part. [thumbsup]
I wouldnt think chopping 3 inches off would require a fuel map change or anything do you?

These bikes look SO much better post chop. I did it to my bike with only 400 miles on the clock.
Believe me, it was hard to take a sawzall to my brand new bike, but the end results were well worth it..

Dude! That bike is siiiiick! I love the single sided swingarm  8)

No changes needed, and a dyno run confirmed it too  [thumbsup]

Yes, just drill/re-rivet the end cap back on the can.  Simple :)  [beer]

Couldn't bring myself to full chop, either... so made myself a tweener. Always said it was for future re-sale... but I plan to ride this into the ground. Now I say it's so I can put a week-sized tailbag on without covering the lights.
