Finally Americans start paying attention to oil & gas consumption - about time

Sorry that higher prices is what woke you up, though.
To "protect the environment" and fill up government pockets, gas is above $9 here in Norway - one of the larger oil exporters of the world.

BTW my S2R800 with Termis, ECU and open air box will get 35 around town up to 55 on semi-aggressive backroads touring.
It isn't just now that I'm concerned with fuel consumption.
I'm a cheap bastard, and have always tried to get the best mpg I could with my vehicles. Except for the bike... there I could care less, as long as the ride is enjoyable.
That's why I have my Volvo instead of a truck. For what I haul (the Duc), I'd rather pull a trailer.
