I just posted this in a local club forum but then saw the introduction forum... so here we go:

EDIT: And just saw the guide to introductions, so here we go again:

Name: Brian
Location: San Antonio, TX
Bike(s): 2007 Ninja 250, Monster 696
How long you've been riding: 3 months
Anything else you'd like to share: My copy/paste introduction from before:

Started riding a couple months ago and got a new white 696 as a x-mas present for myself.

Just put 500 miles on the 696 and i've already got the itch to personalize it. I have the CW fender eliminator, removed the bikini fairing and yanked off that horrible carbon canister. I have a Barracuda belly pan on the way and looking at the Mivv Suono slip-ons. Also plan on powder coating a lot of the silver parts of this bike black. Considering the 14t front sprocket too.

I've done a lot of lurking for info and advice and this seems like a pretty cool board, so I just may stick around  [thumbsup]

welcome to the board brian.
looks like you already found the local clubs!
If you drive the nicest car in the neighborhood, work in a cash business, and don't pay taxes, you're either a preacher or a drug dealer...

Welcome Brian and congrats on the new 696. [thumbsup]

Sounds like you've already been bitten by the modding bug.  We'll expect pictures at some point. ;)

Have fun, ride safe. [moto]

A fellow Dane?! I'm only half Danish though... and cheese and beer two of the very few words I know. Coincidentally, they are the only two words I need to know to get by in Denmark!
