I thought all Monsters were desmos.

OH. so he made an SS. that's cool, now all Ducati has to do is repeat with the new Monster and we will have our SS back.

If people are referring to the limited production "Desmosedici" (D16RR) than the unique portion of the Italian word would be the number 16 or "Sedici".  "Desmo" is used as slang for Desmodromic which is the type if valve actuation Ducati motorcycles have been using on production motorcycle exclusively since early 80's.

I was thinking the same thing. My guess would be he put on a SSS from another bike (or fabed it) to get closer to the look of the sedici. Not my bag, but not quality work by the look of it.

Wow, this story is at least a year behind. That bike was done at least a year ago.
