You'd think he'd try and part them out first as opposed to selling the whole lot at once.  I can't imagine there are too many folks out there who want just those bikes for the at amount of cash.  Even with all the NOS parts that come with, is all that worth a STARTING bid of 300k?  Someone with more vintage racing knowledge than should break the price down.

it looks like someone inherited someone else's garage and wants to get paid now rather than deal with it. fun fun fun.

Think they'll throw the kewl full suspension Mongoose into the deal?   [laugh]

I don't doubt that they are nice bikes, but the guy should know exactly what he is selling... especially if he has an opening bid of $300k.  "Not sure of exact year, will confirm" and "not sure of exact milage, will confirm"?  Gimme a break.  Those bikes should have been assembled, inspected and actually clean before putting them on e-bay.  The first picture of the Honda is probably enough for most people to turn away and laugh at the fact that he is asking $300k.  That thing is plastered in dust and dirt.
Some people are like slinky's.  They serve absolutely no purpose, but they always bring a smile to your face when you push them down the stairs.

what a mess. a lot of cool bikes, but only one person knows the nooks, crannies, cooks, and quirks of all these bikes, and that's the original collector.
too much of a committment IMO..

From what I've been able to find, it looks like the value of the bikes (assuming they're all in good condition) is roughly 300,000.

And then all of the parts on top of that.
