Long Version:
Haven't talked to you all in a long while. Guess it's about time.
Things are going wellish in Seattle. Job's moving along. We're renting a place up on Queen Anne hill (probably will find a hipper neighborhood when the lease is up) and I even managed to get a little riding in last year before the winter set in.
We managed to weather the snowpocalypse of '08 last month. About a foot of snow stuck in the Seattle metro area which isn't a big deal when your city is prepared for it. They simply have no idea what to do here. And with the hills it's crazy. Sarah and I were basically trapped on the hill for a week. Walking back and forth to the store and local pub occasionally...alright daily.
As for the important stuff, Sarah's burlesque is going well.

She's been doing a lot of solo work up here as the troupes aren't as talented as they were in Dallas, even though there are certainly more of them. We're tossing around the idea of finding a choreographer and starting our own again. I think we must be nuts. She's even starting to venture into the world of pinup/fetish photography. We'll see how it goes, but we just finished a session with Elizabeth Raab (check out her cool Ducati stuff at ElizabethRaab.com - nakie chicks on Ducs) and will be working with another photographer and a shibari (Japanese rope bondage) artist in January for a really cool photo set. And as if she's not already doing the cooler stuff of the two of us, she's in Beijing right now with her friend Alex visiting Alex's folks. Crazy.
As for the bike, she's been in the garage lately. It's been dry, but it's too freakin' cold out there. I'm a Texas boy, dammit. Managed to get a nice winter coat, but still can't handle it below 35 out on the bike. Brrrr. I have met a group of old-school motorcycle boys up here, the Cretins. They have chapters here and in LA and have been good to hang out with for a beer now and then. The DesmoNW folks are nice enough too, but not nearly as good of drinkers as my DFWM folk.

And now the condensed version...
