Talks could indicate Meghan Fox as her replacement....

I love Meghan Fox, but Angelina Jolie IS Lara Croft.  Besides Meghan Fox is too young.  Jessica Biel?  That would be awesome.

They said they want to a whole batman begins style make over... pretend the other movies never existed and start over from scratch... lame.

The old Tomb Raiders weren't that bad, though, unlike the original Batmans. As much as I like Meghan Fox I think she's too flat to play Lara Croft.

Angelina was good for what it was.  I fell asleep in both movies!  I really don't understand what appeal she has. 

Beil is even worse. 

Megan Fox?  Yes, a fox and something to drool over..but..her performance wasn't great in Transformers.

I doubt she can pull it off.  This is going to be an Aeon Flux all over again.  CRAP!!

I can understand not putting Jolie in the role. She's already "been there-done that", and she is gettin' a little too old for that type role. My question is why bring it back at all? The originals would be really hard to top, and there are more worthy original screenplays out there that would be a better use of the time, effort, and of course, the money.

and I'm sure that transformers was trying to line themselves up for oscar noms.  [roll]

she was just fine, IMO. ;D

but a new tomb raider? bad idea, but when was the last good popcorn-flick idea to come out of hollywood? would you expect anything different?



and how does this compare to aeon flux? that was just a shitty movie based on an awesome cartoon, not a new star for a movie franchise based on a video game... replacing jolie is more like getting a new bond.

The change was at the request of the production companies insurance underwriters who were concerned Jolie would become pregnant during filming and delay shooting.  8)

And I dont know how they can change them...they look nothing alike!
