Hello!
I have a serious problem with my Ducati Monster 695, 2007.
When my bike is on or when im driving straight forward or turning left i have no problem but as soon as i turn to right, just 2 millimeter the front light goes off and on the instrument panel there is a blue light for full beam.
I have checked and red manual and done everything i can but i can't find out what the problem can be?
Any of you know what this can be or where i can get the help i need?
And of course i have another problem aswell, i have had the bike for around 6 days but the previous owner didn't drive it for almost 1,5-2 years. When im driving now it makes noises"poff" and it goes very uneven, almost feels like the engine will die when you are on like 700rpm, but the problem is i get this problem when im on 4000rpm+?
You think it can be the spark plugs?
Damn so much trouble and i have had it for almost a week only.
Thanks in advance! And i really hope someone can help me! :)

It sounds to me that something is wrong with the wiring. With the bike running but parked simulate the turn while looking for wire movement. I would bet the issue is in the headlight harness/ignition key etc.

If you can recreate the issue, take it apart look for bare wires loose harness etc.

Sounds like some wiring is either being pinched, or is loose and the connector is being pulled when you turn to the right. Take a look around the back of the headlight, follow those wires and look for a connector. Make sure that connector is securely plugged into the main wiring harness. If it is, don't be afraid to pull the headlight off and look inside it for loose connections.

As for the "poffing." If the previous owner didn't drive it for a year and a half, the gas in the tank probably went bad. Running it on that gas, you probably pulled the gunk that gas turned into down into your fuel injection setup and now have at least one partially clogged fuel injector. Not a big deal. The next time you gas up, grab a bottle of fuel injector cleaner and dump about a third of it into a full tank. Then keep riding your bike. Eventually those deposits will wash themselves out and get burned up, and your bike will run like it should.  :)

I'd also give the bike an oil change ASAP if you haven't already. Oil degrades over time, too.

No harm in pulling the plugs to see what they look like, get an idea what's going on in your engine, but I doubt they're the problem.

I'd also suggest that you get the belts changed when you can. 2 years of sitting in the same position, under tension, tends to make them a bit stiff.

I can't wait until Marquez gets on his level and makes Jorge trip on his tampon string.
