I'm still liking it. We were running around geocaching today, so I plugged my EVDO card in and it was great in the car. So far, probably the most demanding program I've run on it has been Google Earth....did it just fine. I LOVE this little thing.....everything a portable should be IMO.

About the small keyboard.... When you really need to do a lot of typing just plug in a usb keyboard and mouse. You could even set up an external monitor.

Just bought a Acer Aspire One

So it's pretty sweet....but going to take a little getting used to the tiny keys (with my Fatty McFat fingers). Most people buy these netbooks to supplement their main computers, but not me. No....my almighty Mac bit the dust on Monday, and it's going to cost more than this thing cost to get it fixed. The poor thing was 5 years old anyways, so I decided to move on, but I couldn't afford anything big. I decided to see if I could make it with the baby PC.

anyone else have a netbook? likes? dislikes?

I haven't decided if this was a good decision yet....

Netbooks rule. I'm writing my thesis on a Dell Inspiron Mini - best computer I've had to date.
