beautiful!

i don't love the bottom cowl, but it might grow on me.  on a naked, those look clunky to me..

on a half faired SS they look much better -- more in tune.

but nice score!

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the airâ€"these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

What would ScoobyDoo?

Thanks!

Actually came to the same conclusion on the belly pan, it's now history. The seat cover is now a pukka red one, found on Fleabay dirt cheap. When it turned up it was mint and also made in 1993!

This mock up is pretty nice...

Not a Ducati.

Plus, it's not a good Elefant anyhow.  It has a trellis main frame, which NONE of the Elefants have.  It looks more like a Gran Canyon than an Elefant.

Elefant:

Gran Canyon

I have a '95 m900 which still has elephants all over. I tell ya, they don't make 'em like they used to.  [roll] All time favorite elephant is on the gas cap.  ;D

Oh, and that '93 m900 from above is waaaaaaay too clean.  [cheeky]
ErkZ NOT in SLO w/ his '95 m900!
The end is in sight! Gotta buckle down and get to work!

Yeah, was a bit sparkly wasn't it! I spent about 2 months over the winter that year getting it looking like that.

It is currently "resting" in my garage awaiting time and space for a better restoration. As it's such an early bike I intend to get it back to somewhere close to original with only period accessories fitted. The motor needs a little work too so a bit of TLC is needed.

I have a 1000DS Monster as well but the 900 is always my favourite  [thumbsup], early Monsters are cooooool...!
