Okay Mindy and I are pretty much settled in, I have a walkout basement with sliding doors, so the twins are now in the basement.  I am setting up a work place for them.  Let me know what you think!

Here are a couple of the new monster.

Adjustable Showa forks

Look how many miles it has on it.

Spools on the swingarm!  [thumbsup]

Here is a couple of LYD.

its a 98.  I was at work one day and had a ducati shirt on and a guy stopped me and asked if I rode ducs, yes.  he said his brother had a 98 he bought new and doesn't ride it, and wants to sell it.  So I went and checked it out and 3900 bucks later its my new bike.

Good deal on the 98, so what mods do you have planned? While you are at it can you post some details on both. - Gene

Yes it was a good deal!!  I want to make this a track bike but I want to be able to convert it back to street if I want to so:

As for mods, I am going to:
remove emissions
remove pods
tail chop
jet carbs
open air box with K&N filter
Pipes  (of course)
open the clutch
clip ons with new top clamp
sliders
Thats the start!
I really don't know much about the new bike other than what I've showed in the pics, its 99.9% stock,(owner took off the rear fender) but someone said it was an M900S.  I checked into it, but the S came with carbon fenders, showa adj front forks  and a couple of other items.  Mine only has forks, shock and the spools on the swingarm.

As for the yellow one It started life as a dark.  here's a pic the day I bought it.

its a 2001 M900 fuel injected
D&D pipes
K&N air filter
Power commander III
open clutch
crg lane splitters
tail chop
LED brake light w/ signals
custom front signals
custom paint, stripes and tank graphics
new right side uder seat panel (no emissions, off my old 99 750)
customized front sprocket cover (modded by me)
Galfer rear wave rotor
Custom yellow chain
yellow wheel stripes
kickstand bypass
adjustable levers
15/43 black rear sprocket
chin spoiler
seat fairing
flyscreen
powder coated the rearsets and exhaust hangers (including pegs)
emissions removed
removed frame stickers
painted belt covers

Plus I only paid 3800 for it.

Here are some more pics:

The aluminum swing arm (with spools) and the adjustable forks are the hallmarks of S bikes in that era.  I've got a '00 900S that has similar gizmos

is that a clear tank protector on the yellow bike?

I am getting my bike back from nate soon and I was looking into that clear dp tank protector.  I dont want to hide the nice new paint but I also dont want to scratch it up.  From the looks of it, it is way clearer then i expected it to be.
