no start

rode my monster to work,the bike started to spew oil and smoke thru the cranckcase
breather hose and died,oil all over the fender,pipes and swingarm,
and will not start back up,the bike has been sitting for 10 month and there is a strong smell of  paint
the starter is working,the spark plugs were wet
tried new spark plugs no luck.
put some new gas and replaced the fuel filter,still no luck,with the new spark plugs there is  a strong spark.
2004 800cc  pipes and power commander Any ideas will be appreciated?

I would do a compression or leakdown test.
you have spark
you have fuel
do you have compression or proper timing?

I just pulled a 900 apart where the rings were corroded to the piston lands, this would show up as low compression and lots of blowby.

unfortunatly you are right ducvet,the timing is spot on,did a compression test
this morning i've 30psi on the vertical cyl and 60psi on the horizontal one.
I'm gonna start tearing it down and we'll see.

Sounds like something seriously wrong with both cylinders.  Mine were pulling 125+ on the m750.  Odd that both would go at the same time.

Why dont you spray some good penetrating oil down into the spark plug holes and crank it a few times to get it to coat the rings.  Do this with the plugs out with a rag covering the holes so you don't wear the penetrating oil.  Then let it sit for a day or so and try to fire it up.  They may work loose if thats your problem.

Got a chance to tear it down,not pretty,the verticale cylinder piston ring land desintegreted,so the piston is gone
pieces of rings went down in the crankcase,some marks on the cyl wall,i think i can hone it out.
the horizontal piston was about to go, i pulled a piece of the piston between the rings with my fingers cylinder is ok.
Any idea about what happen anybody seen or experienced a similar problem?
The cylinders are not gummed-up,all i can think is the gas in the tank was 10 month old.

1. Some of that crap fuel caused the rings to stick to the cylinder a bit and tore the rings to hell.

2. Buildup of unburnt crap fuel caused excessive pressure and blew out the rings.

Really dont know but those are possibilities.

I think everything just corroded while the bike was sitting for 10 months.  I never winterize my bikes but I always to start them up every once in awhile.  Keeps everything inside coated in oil.

10 months of sitting should not have caused this. Either something stuck the rings like a corrosion issue (not stated) or you had bad ignition timing. since it happened to both I would look closely at the fuel. be sure to get all the old fuel out but after you get it back together check your timing as well.
