Hi guys,

Question on my 2002 620 Dark i.e.:

I have the opportunity to buy a set of Termignoni high mount slip-ons (just the pipes/cans, no headers) to replace my stock pipes. Unfortunately, the set up doesn't come with the ECU. could I just install the cans and pipes (not the air filter, and obviously not the ECU) without an issue?

Thanks in advance.

As far as I know if you're just installing slip ons you don't need to do anything else.

If you are only doing the exhaust you should be fine.  At most you may need to adjust the CO trim.

The general consensus is that the stock ecu is adjustable enough to handle pipes & headers.

It's only when you get into airbox mods (no top/snorkel or pods) that you need an aftermarket ECU mod (Power Commander, DP ECU or ECU reflash)
