Get off my bike today and notice this hose is disconnected:

How does that happen? I don't see how I can re-connect it.  There does not seem to be anything for it to click onto.  And ideas?

Thanks.

Looks like your crack case breather.  Is it possible that the oil level was too high?  That can cause excess pressure.  But they also just sometimes make a mess after spirited rides.  Nichols makes an aftermarket fix but I have no FHE.

It's your crankcase breather.  They're cheap plastic and the occassionally break.  The Nichols unit is TOP NOTCH, but if you don't have the funds to swing it right now...  Another stocker will suffice for the time being.

Try PM'ing 'm9hundo' on the board. I know he parts out Ducs and may have one lying around for cheap.

Thank you for the replies.  This is my only mode of transportation so I need it fixed ASAP, as-in tomorrow morning.  Looks like another trip to Desmoto.

Clean up the plastic, and use some duct-tape for the time being (considering its your only mode...).  It'll still be messy, but at least it won't  be completely messy...

Good luck man!  [thumbsup]
