Hey gang -

Just saw this on HarborFreight - I usually only buy their stuff for "disposable" tools  ;)  But ... If you're looking for a set of calipers for measuring things on the bike or for service work, these can't be beat.  I've had mine for a year or two and they work great, and are very accurate.  They're made by the same OEM that makes Bluepoint stuff ...

$10!

I bought a set a couple of months ago and have been impressed with their quality and accuracy for their price.
996 forks, BoomTubes, frame sliders, CRG bar-end mirrors, vizitech integrated tail light, rizoma front turn signals, rizoma grips, cycle cat multistrada clip ons, pantah belt covers - more to come

The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary. H. L. Mencken

I'm a "hobbiest" CNC'er and have purchased numerous calibration type stuff from HFT, never disappointed. I have a pro CNC buddy with a set of micrometers that he spent $1200 on for really high tech precision work, he said my $20 set from HFT was nearly as accurate, forgot the exact number , but it was a 10th of a human hair per inch or some shit like that.

Do you take CNC requests?

I also have a set HFT calipers, $30 I think. Sure there accurate, but I measure for a living and nothing can beat Mitutoyo on quality. HFT calipers feel like there gonna fall apart in my hand.
