Ok...  I get it.  I've looked at the new Monsters for a while now but didn't *see* this abomination between the horizontal cylinder and the frame.  With it removed, it definately looks more 'Monster'.  Nicely done but the regulator really should have a 2nd bolt in it's mount (I know you're working with what you've got and it'll be fine for now, but consider fabbing a bracket at some point, K?)

One of the best mods I ever did. I'm surprised more people haven't done it!

Just need to take out the turn signal extenders now. waytogo

P.S. the regulator doesn't stand out that much—must have been the flash. And it really doesn't need the 2nd mounting point... mine won't budge at all (unlike the stock mounting on plastic!). I do have the horn mounted via another hole though.

I took mine off as well, but mounted an oil cooler there....I was thinking of moving the regulator under the seat.

Just remember those regulators get hot. Even if the heat doesn't damage anything it shortens the life of the regulator. A better option might be to clean it up and a light coat of flat black paint

I think he knows, he was the first one to comment when I posted the oil cooler.  I am not selling the kit, but Moto Wheels is.  None the less I will throw up the ridiculous commercial we made.....Never mind our strange sense of humor..
