Just found my way here after the "collapse" I read about at the other place.  Really glad I found it! 

Anyway, I've always been a big lurker over there and will probably be here too.  I don't currently own a Monster, but I'm a big fan and plan to have one eventually. 

I currently ride a 2003 Suzuki SV650 (naked), so I'm a fan of sporty V/L-Twins.

Hard to say.  I had a deposit on a black Triumph Street Triple that I decided to cancel since the wait was forever (put it down in Dec.) and the dealer had no clue when they would get one, and what color it would be.  Also, since putting the deposit down, my finacee and I bought a house, so funding for the bike got caught up in the new house.  I may be back in the market after I get married in Dec.

That said, I'll have my eye on whatever the 696's big brother is.  I've always loved Ducatis and a bigger 696 may sway me.
