Fun out at High Plains Raceway in Colorado:

What a great time! Friday practice in prep for Race 2 of the MRA in Colorado. After my 4th 30 minute session I had trimmed 10 seconds off my best lap times from my last visit to the track.

Chased by a storm trooper:

Setting up for the pass:

Clear!

Fun stuff!

Order some new pucks!

I am indeed! More images from Sundays action!

What an amazing weekend! Lap times dropped from 2:21 on Fridays starting practice sessions, to 2:11 by end of the day. Saturday I was down to 2:08, today I was able to get em down to 2:05. Saturday and Sunday times were during races with a ton of traffic.

Saturday race 1: started 36th, finished 27th.
Saturday race 2: started 42nd, finished 30th.
Sunday race 1: started 30th, finished 15th.
Sunday race 2: started 22nd, finished 12th.

Starting positions are based on points from last season and when you registered. Given this was my rookie race weekend, I was in the back of the 2nd wave.

I avoided carnage all over the track. I personally witnessed 8 or 9 crashes. Craaaaazy stuff!

I was happy with the results on the weekend. My gearing was way off for this track and I couldn'tdo anything about it  All in all I think I held my own, learned an absolute ton, and more importantly had THE most fun on two wheels in my life.
