Electric Racing Duc?

I was checking out this page when I came across a pic of what looks like a Duc stuffed full with an electric motor. Check the link below. It seems pretty cool, 16 teams racing zero-emission motorcycles.

i suppose it is neat, but it is not my cup of tea. i enjoy the smell of race gas, the loud barking exhausts, and the mystique/voodoo that goes into getting power out of a controlled explosion.
