my clutch is not disengaging. during the winter i took off the clutch cover, generator cover and removed the clutch slave. i never touched or removed the clutch, just took the cover off. upon putting everything back on and fluids in and bleeding the clutch line the clutch never disengages. i blead many many times and always had a steady stream of fluid out of the bleed valve. i took the clutch slave off to try to figure it out the problem. if i remember correctly the rod from the slave should slide in until a couple inches are hanging out and then with your fingers be able to push it in and have it spring back, or am i wrong? the rod currently goes in until a couple inches are left and just stops and will not go in any further. is that normal or is something blocking it from going in any further? how far should the rod be able to go in? any advise or insite would be appreciated. (i checked lots of searches and came up with nothing). thanks

No way you can compress the clutch springs with your fingers so the pushrod will spring back.

Can you tell if the pushrod is moving with the slave installed?

I'll bet it isn't.
