btw, anyone got recommendations on a Helmet cam!

gh0stie, have you check out the GoPro?  http://www.goprocamera.com/
I have the wide lens version and absolutely love it.  Bought it for snowboarding, but plan to use it for riding this season.  It's waterproof and has several picture modes if you want to take single photos or a series of them.  The downside for photos is that there is no lcd screen to check if they turned out since its so tiny. If you happen to be an REI member, buy it through them online or at a store.  If you dont like it, even after 9 months you can return it.   [thumbsup]

It seems ghosthound knows the rider.

yep, I know the guy. He actually started the local forum im on for riders.

His account is that there was a slight wind and he was countering it  during the wheelie so when he brought the front down, he was still slightly turned.

I can vouch for him that it was in fact windy that day.

I'm not big on stunting so i wasnt there that day... To be honest, a lot of the riders are very squidly.

The camera he was using was the GoPro Wide.  He actually sent the video to them and they sent him a whole bunch of free cameras with the motorsport kits.  I bought one of them off of him.  I really like it because its easy to mount and simple to use.

I have the gopro, but its kind of a pain in the ass...not always sure if its running or not.  Sometimes pushing the button works, sometimes not, etc.
If you love your bike, set it free.
If it comes back to you, you've
probably high-sided.

I had that problem when I used regular AA batteries.  It would just randomly shut off, especially in cold weather.
Making the switch to NiMH rechargeable made the difference, at least for me.   Have you tried those or Lithium ones?

I have a Question? If at all possible would it be an advantage to dive off the bike  or would that be a bad move ? :o

Also, did that guy go thru wire fencing ?

OMG
Look! up on the Highway! My word! It's insane! No! It's a Monster....

thanks for the recommendations guys, the gopro and the VIO are pretty much the two I've been considering

I was all set to order the gopro till I saw this video, now I'm holding out

http://www.vio-pov.com/vio_movie_gallery/gallery.php?category=Bike&video_uid=29

(I should also mention that I'm planning to use this on my mountain bike and car, in addition to the Monster)

obviously the VIO  also costs 3x as much (lol)

If I could find a used VIO on ebay for under 400 I'd be all over it.........guess I'll keep hunting
