So, I have a 2000 m750 with the analog speedo on left and rectangle idiot box on right (no tach) And, I've never really been a fan of the way that dash looks.

I'm preparing to build a custom setup that houses the speedo in the center and has idiot lights from a 916.  Another member did something similar and I liked it.  I have a different method for mounting it, but you get the idea;

My question (a stupid question at that), does it matter what speedo I use??  I want to use the speedo from the 916 (because my spedo has a cracked face and I like that the 916 spedo goes up higher...)

Some nice stuff here:

There is also a Brittish company that makes similar, but I went blank on the name.  Ducpainter would know, he has one.  These units will give you all the warning lights you need, a tach and a speedometer in one nice, round package.

Ok, that's cool.  I thought I know exactly what I was going to do.  Now I may have to spend a few extra $$ cause I like this clock (and has tech, cool!)...
