Anyone have an Alternate Tool Kit Location?
«

I recently got a Corbin seat for my '02 Monster. I like the seat better than the Sargent except for one, minor detail - no space for the Ducati tool kit (upgraded slightly). With the tools I've added, it's about 2-3 times the size of the original kit, so it won't fit between the seat and the fender.
Any good ideas on alternate places to stash a small tool kit?

A tank bag or rear seat bag.
How about one of those small bags that you see attached on the front forks or handle bars of cruisers. Attach it somewhere on the front of your bike such as right between the headlight and front fender.
Depending on how much more tools you've added. You may want to just put the original tool kit as is came under the seat and carry the extra tools in your riding jacket pockets if possible.
Just some ideas without requiring making any custom alterations to your bike.

If you still have a full rear fender, try a fanny pack that is strapped through your passenger grip bars and under the tail. As long as your suspension isn't too loose it could work.
